The color

Seashell Pink Matte A very light, warm-tinted pink — softer than a classic pastel, more present than a true nude. It reads as the faintest blush wash on fair complexions, a soft luminous pink on medium tones, and a bright, eye-lifting highlight on deeper complexions. The Bismuth Oxychloride gives it a subtle satin surface quality that keeps it from reading flat.

Think the blush-pink inner surface of a nautilus shell held to the light, the pale warmth of a white peony just opening, the faint pink of early morning sky before the sun clears the horizon. Seashell Pink is not quite a pink and not quite a nude — it occupies the precise, rare register where the eye is brightened and lifted without any visible colour commitment. In warm light it reads as a creamy warm pink; in daylight the Bismuth Oxychloride gives it a soft luminosity that makes the lid appear naturally lit.

Shown on nine skin tones from fair to deep, the shade earns its place differently on every complexion. On fair skin it reads as a barely-there blush wash that simply makes the lid look fresh and awake. On medium tones it delivers a visible soft pink that reads as romantic and polished. On deeper complexions it functions as a bright, feminine highlight shade that genuinely illuminates.
